Burlington’s stand-alone Dementia care facility is now open.
The single storey, boutique facility (just 20 units) has large care suites and apartments leading out to an interactive internal courtyard and gardens. Circadian lighting adds to the carefully designed complex that has been designed in a domestic style to allow residents to live as independently as possible in a dementia friendly environment.
Burlington’s experienced staff will ensure the very best of lifestyles are catered for in a secure environment.
Qestral Director, Wendy Fleming, CRSNZ (Companion of the Royal Society of New Zealand), was an integral part of the design team and is widely recognised for her work with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. She is Honorary Vice President of Alzheimers Disease International.
Dementia suites are available under the following payment structure options:
The Premium Accommodation Charge is an additional fee that you pay on top of your Daily Care Fee. Premium charges vary depending on the size of the room, currently this ranges from $62 to $72 per day.
Occupation Right Agreement:
Care Suites can be purchased under an Occupation Right Agreement (ORA), which means you pay an upfront capital sum to secure the room. You will still pay a Daily Care Fee, but there is no additional Premium Accommodation Charge.
